SPORTSMAN 125 TYRES AT TIGER CLUB DAYS IN 2012

If you wish to compete for the Club Championship in Sportsman 125 Light or Heavy in 2012, you will need to use MG REDS.

If you wish to use MG YELLOWS, you will have to enter and run as "Open Class"

Registrations and Scrutineering: 12.30pm – 1.30pm Officials Brief: 2.05pm Drivers Brief: 2.15pm Heat One Commences: 2.30pm 3 heat race meeting using the 289 points system. Ballot, Reverse Ballot, Highest to Front - all points count. Highest points on day is winner of day. Hope to see you all there!

Saturday Meets

Saturday

Gates open: 12 noon
Officials brief: 1.00 pm
Scrutineering and entries lodged: 12.30 -1.30pm
Practice: 1.15 - 2.15pm (5 mins per group in race order)
Driver Brief: 2.15 pm
Racing commences: 2.30 pm
Tea break if needed
Anticipate 3 heats to be completed prior to tea break/sunset
Provisional presentations to be done ASAP after racing (ie aiming at 30 minutes after completion of racing)..

Sunday Meets

 
Gates open: 7.30 am
Officials Brief: 7.45 am
Scrutineering and entries lodged: 7.45 - 8.45am
Practice: 8.15 - 9.15am (5 mins per group in race order)
Drivers Brief: 9.15 am
Racing commences: 9.30 am
Lunch break if needed
Provisional presentations to be done asap after racing (ie aiming at 30 minutes after completion of racing).
 

What will make this work?

It is essential that ALL officials are on site at 12.15pm (Saturday meetings) or 7.45am (Sunday meetings). Officials brief will be held first up to designate duties and ensure smooth start to race day. Officials of the day will run and manage scrutineering. Drivers must lodge their entry prior to practice. You will not be permitted to practice unless you have lodged your entry and been scrutineered. Practice will NEVER begin earlier than the scheduled time.
